Nomination Criteria
Prep Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year:
The Oregon Sports Awards team allows the Oregon High School Lacrosse Association’s (OHSLA) conference coaching representatives and Board of Directors to nominate athletes and select a winner.
Prep Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year:
The Oregon Girls Lacrosse Association (OGLA) nominates and selects a winner from its all-conference and all-state teams, which are announced between May and June. Board members and head coaches facilitate any nomination or voting processes.
At-large nominations:
A coach, sports information director or athletic director may submit a nomination request to a member of the Oregon Sports Awards team. The request will then be forwarded to the OHSLA or OGLA, who reserves the right to include the nominee in its respective voting process.
