Nomination Criteria

Automatic nomination:

  1. NISCA All-American (must compete for an OSAA member school)

  2. Top all-classification NISCA Power Point scorer at the OSAA State Championships

  3. Set an all-classification state record in an event

  4. Repeat state champion in two-or-more events

Consideration (must meet at least one criterion):

  1. Recognition at a club meet (i.e. Speedo Junior National Championships, Oregon Swimming Region XII Senior Championships, USA Swimming)

  2. Multi-event state champion

  3. Athlete of the Meet at the OSAA State Championship

At-large nominations:

  1. An athlete may be nominated by a member of the Oregon Sports Awards voting panel

  2. An athlete may be nominated by a coach, sports information director or athletic director. Nominations must be submitted to the Oregon Sports Awards team
